All About My Community!

                        Greetings from Greenville, friends!

I thought today I would share with you what it's like where I live.

I go to school at Furman University which is in Greenville, South Carolina.

It's a beautiful school and wins a lot of awards for being so pretty.

We have a big lake behind our school and a rose garden where you can sometimes pick roses!

Nothing beats watching the sun come up during my morning run!
It always smells great here! But that might just be because of the dining hall!
I'm originally from Charlotte, North Carolina which is only a two hour drive from Furman. Charlotte is a really interesting city and always has something BIG going on! Have you ever heard of Nascar racing? Charlotte is known for it's Nascar events and museum.

One of the few things the two cities have in common is the love of Barbeque. Barbeque is a type of cooking meat that is delicious and a BIG deal is both North and South Carolina.

Yum!

Both areas are known for their different styles of barbecue. Personally, I prefer Charlotte's!
BBQ can be a BIG deal.

What type of barbecue do you think you guys would like?
Until next time friends, here's one of my favorite songs written by one of my state's favorite musicians:

Hi, everyone! My name is Page Empson!
I'm a junior at Furman University and I am studying to be a teacher!

I'm originally from Charlotte which is only an hour and a half drive away!
When I do go back to Charlotte, I get to see my two dogs! Their names are Lizzie and Daisy whom I l love very much!

Aren't they adorable?

I love to read and my favorite books are: Mirette on the High Wire by Emily McCully and Charlotte in Giverny by Joan Knight.

I also love to travel and even went to France recently!
Here's me with my friend, Sarah at the Eiffel Tower!
